So here's what my apartment looks like today, Thursday, January 29, 2015. 32 days to go. I got my car detailed today and went out trying to find a buyer and found a disappointingly low value that it's worth. It made me again question should I sell it? should I keep it? I hear various advice and levels of support for this trip. Many cautionary, a few "just let it fly" remarks. Then I rented the movie, The Secret Life of Walter Mitty today. He spent his whole life playing it safe. Then through a series of events, he developed the courage to take the giant leap into adventure. His mantra was the motto of LIFE magazine "to see the world, things dangerous to come to, to see behind walls, draw closer, to find each other, and to feel. That is the purpose of life." I will draw strength from Walter Mitty's life!
